Luis A. Bustillo-Muñoz is a PhD candidate at the Chair of Silviculture at Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany. He holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Governance from the same institution and a Bachelor in Electro-mechanical Engineering from Autonomous University of Nuevo León, México. 

Research interests:

• Small scale farming, Endogenous development, Food sovereignty, Food security, Rural development, Indigenous knowledge, Resilience, Community based natural resource management, Sustainable development and urban gardening. 

Project:

• Endogenous development; a comparative study of indigenous communities in Mexico.
