Research interests

I am a forest scientist in the field of forest ecology and dynamics. My research is currently focused on the development of silvicultural approaches for forest restoration, which I address through field surveys and silvicultural experiments. One of my goals has been to provide evidence on how to conciliate the development of plantation forestry with conservation purposes and the provision of ecosystem goods and services.
